The 14th Annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival returns to Telluride Town Park September 14-16, 2007, with the best blues, rock, funk and gospel artists in music today! This year’s line-up includes performances by Los Lonely Boys, Keb’ Mo’, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, the Radiators with Bonerama, JJ Grey & Mofro, Joe Bonamassa and many more fantastic artists. And the best is yet to come; Sunday’s headliner will be announced on Monday, June 25, 2007.
The Telluride Blues & Brews festival will open with an unbelievable day of music with a line-up that features rock, traditional blues and more. Friday’s artists include headliner Los Lonely Boys, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Joe Bonamassa, Tishamingo and Rhythm Council with Henry Butler, Papa Mali, Kirk Joseph and Robb Kidd. Los Lonely Boys’ music fuses electric blues, Texasroots, searing six string licks and Latin beats, and this dynamic sound led the band to huge success. Los Lonely Boys’ self-titled debut sold more than 2 million copies and the band won a Grammy for the #1 hit, “Heaven.” The band’s new disc, Sacred, recently peaked at #2 on the Billboard Top 200.
Saturday will be a big treat with a sweet mix of zydeco, Delta blues and some good old-fashioned blues rock. With Keb’ Mo’, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, John Mooney’s Bluesiana, former Black Crowes guitarist, Marc Ford, Ana Popovic and The Sean Carney Band, Saturday will be smokin’ hot! Headlining Saturday will be Delta blues master and three time Grammy winner Keb’ Mo’. Keb’ Mo’ is known for his distinctive sound that embraces multiple eras and genres, including pop, rock, folk and jazz. His acoustic and slide guitar mastery, laconic storytelling and gritty country blues deliver a sound that is soulful and authentic.
Sunday brings together some Blues & Brews favorites! The Radiators with Bonerama, Eric Lindell and JJ Grey & Mofro have all graced the Blues & Brews stage in previous years and are back by popular demand. Joining these Blues & Brews veterans will be blues legend David “Honeyboy” Edwards and a Morning Gospel set by the Erica Brown Band. When the sun goes down, join the Radiators and Bonerama for a Fais Do Do jam like no other at the Sheridan Opera House. Don’t forget – mark your calendar to visit www.tellurideblues.com on Monday, June 25th for the Sunday headliner announcement.
