On the heels of two monstrous Jam Cruise performances and the release of their second album, Apollo, Stockholm Syndrome has taken to the west coast for a short stint on the road. With the still unclear immediate future of Widespread Panic (Dave Schools, bassist) and Gov’t Mule (Danny Louis, keyboardist) will do next year, it seems as though the previously somewhat scant appearances of this supergroup may be becoming a much a more regular occurence.
Last fall, Honest Tune contributing photographer and writer, Ian Rawn, caught up with Schools to discuss this project amongst a variety of other subjects included in the interview. One thing that was clear was that Schools clearly enjoys playing with this outfit that also includes vocalist/guitarist Jerry Joseph (Jackmormons), drummer Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow), and guitarist Eric McFadden (Les Claypool, George Clinton).
On this night, photographer Susan J. Weiand was on the scene to capture the action at The Independent through her lens.
