My Morning Jacket, Ween headline High Sierra 2011

Festival tour anyone? My Morning Jacket got the memo. With the latest festival lineup announcement from High Sierra Music Festival, MMJ is now confirmed for: Bonnaroo, Hangout, and Wakarusa Music Festivals. That said, the events are geographically spread out with High Sierra being the furthest away from its festival brothers and nemeses. It is also billed as MMJ’s exclusive west coast festival performance. Sorry Mile High and Outside Lands.

And since festivals are as much about the undercard as they are the headliner, we have yet another smashing lineup from what appears to be perhaps the best festival season yet.

High Sierra will be held in Quincy, CA from June 30-July 1, 2011

The following is the confirmed initial lineup for 2011 High Sierra Music Festival (See video below to read the lineup set to the tune of "One Big Holiday" that comes complete with photos of a teenage Dean and Geen Ween, a ponytailed Dan Lebowitz (ALO) and a rocking Ivan Neville from the 80’s)
