On Wednesday, November 30th at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas, Digital Tape Machine – the Chicago collective featuring members of Umphrey’s McGee, Strange Arrangement, Liquid Soul, Land of Atlantis, and The Hue – will take the stage for the first time on the west coast. This will be the first of four shows on the tour. Make sure to tell your friends in Nevada and California about these dates. This time around, DTM will hit Las Vegas, San Diego, West Hollywood, and San Francisco.
OHMphrey the brainchild of three members of the Chicago-based rock outfit Umphrey’s McGee (keyboardist Joel Cummins, guitarist Jake Cinninger and drummer Kris Myers) and OHM guitarist Chris Poland, a legendary player whose perhaps best known for work with headbanging pioneers Megadeth, and bassist Robertino Pagliari (a.k.a. “Pag” ) of OHM. The band toured the Midwest in October with Digital Tape Machine and will join DTM in California for shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Digital Tape Machine, Strange Arrangement, and My Boy Elroy will on the bill all four shows. Strange Arrangement is also from Chicago and will make their first appearance on the West Coast. Strange Arrangement is getting a lot of recognition by touring consistently and making stops at top festivals across the U.S. Two members of Strange Arrangement (Joe Hettinga and Kevin Barry) also play in Digital Tape Machine. The band is currently on their fall tour that is reaching across 14 states.
