Cornmeal, Greensky Bluegrass, & Union Street Preservation Society
New York, NY
February 10, 2011
Anyone who ever had the idea that a good ol’ fashioned hoedown could not take place The Empire City had another thing coming on 2/10/11 when Cornmeal, Greensky Bluegrass, & Union Street Preservation Society rolled into Sullivan Hall just east of the West 4th Street Subway Station in New York’s Greenwich Village.
As one act wrapped, the next began for a night that ranged from fully traditional to progressive-fusion bluegrass. All were equally danceable and photographer Vernon Webb was on sight to record the sights of the evening.
