San Francisco’s Bob Harp dives deep into his folk-rock background on the shining new recording, Collecting Dust.
Harp, joined by Jordan Feinstein on electric guitars and organ, utilizes a folk angle to begin Collecting Dust with "Ballad of Penelope and Rose." Anton Patzner’s hypnotizing violin notes color "One Thousand Ways," and "Reno Town Blues" showcases the interactions between James Touzel on bass and Steve Toomey on drums.
Produced by Harp and recorded at Both Blocks Studios in San Francisco, Collecting Dust premieres a new voice in Bob Harp, leaving the listener in anticipation of his next piece of work.
Collecting Dust is out now.
